Honestamente, esta historia empezó como un cuento corto que iba a mandar a un concurso literario. Era una historia para jóvenes, donde Alderian visitaba en sueños a su humana para ayudarla con algunos problemas que tenía en ese entonces. La historia avanzaba bien, era entretenida, pero el anhelo de Alderian traspasaba las páginas. Tanto, que me pregunté si tal nivel de nostalgia era apropiado para un cuento juvenil, como el que estaba escribiendo.

Lo dejé así y nunca lo envié al concurso en cuestión. Años después, tras terminar un diplomado en Edición en Literatura Infanto Juvenil, decidí tomar nuevamente esa historia, aunque solo como parte del trabajo que debía entregar.

El magnetismo entre ambos me pareció aún más evidente al leer la historia nuevamente, y en un lugar de mi mente me pregunté si quizás podría escribir la historia de ambos siendo adultos. En cuanto lo pensé, lo supe.

Entre empezar a escribir y terminar el primer manuscrito, pasaron solo tres meses. Así de envolvente me resultó el proceso. La historia se fue develando, como si siempre hubiera estado ahí, esperando a ser descubierta. Con tantas capas, tal nivel de profundidad, que era imposible dejarlo en un libro solamente.

El Hilo de Plata es la primera entrega de una saga pensada para tener cuatro partes. Actualmente me encuentro trabajando en El Hilo Dorado, programado para ser publicado en diciembre de 2026.

To be honest, this story began as a short story meant for a literary contest. At the time, it was a YA piece where Alderian would visit his human in her dreams to help her navigate her struggles. The story was flowing well, but Alderian’s longing seemed to bleed through the pages. It was so intense that I started to wonder if such a profound sense of nostalgia was even appropriate for the story I was writing.

I eventually set it aside and never sent it to that contest. Years later, after finishing my diploma in Children’s and Young Adult Literature Editing, I decided to pick up the story again as part of a final project.

Reading it again, the magnetism between the two characters was even more undeniable. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I wondered: What if I wrote their story as adults? The moment the thought crossed my mind, I just knew.

From the first word to the finished manuscript, only three months passed. That’s how immersive the process was. The story revealed itself to me as if it had always been there, just waiting to be discovered. It had so many layers and such depth that it became impossible to contain it in just one book.

The Silver Thread is the first installment of a planned 4-part series. I am currently working on The Golden Thread, scheduled for publication in December 2026.

Un nuevo proyecto en el que he estado avanzando es una historia con la que desperté hace algunas semanas después de un sueño. Una historia diferente, pero en el género de romance paranormal. Solo un adelanto: es una historia de vampiros y se titulará “Not Your Blood”. Todavía tengo que pensar en un título en español que me convenza.

De esta entrega llevo 21 capítulos enteros, y estoy muy emocionada por el rumbo que va tomando. Sin embargo, creo que intentaré conseguir un agente con esta novela antes de centrarme en publicarla, para terminar la saga de El Hilo de Plata antes de partir con la publicación de otras obras.

Si no logro un agente, seguramente estaré publicando ese libro a fines de 2027.

I also have a new project in the works, a story that literally came to me in a dream a few weeks ago. It’s a standalone paranormal romance with a twist. Here’s a little teaser: it’s a vampire story titled “Not Your Blood.”

I’ve already knocked out 14 chapters, and I’m obsessed with where it’s headed. My plan is to query agents for this novel specifically, as I’d love to explore the traditional publishing route for this series while I continue self-publishing the Silver Thread saga.

However, if I don't find the right agent match, I’ll likely release it myself in late 2027.
